engine dilema
HASport sells a mount kit to put a B-series (2nd/3rd-gen teg) motor into a 3rd-gen Civic. Conceivably it should work with the 1st-gen teg since the cars are very similar mechanically. It's real expensive and the engine bay is real small on that car = pain in the ass to work on. You also would need to do a bunch of rewiring to get the newer ECU to work in the older car. It'd be a whole lot simpler to get your motor rebuilt which should run about 2 grand.

thanks for the info. Im looking at doing something more drastic. the valve lash is off ,the o2 sensor bad ,and looses fair amount of oil. At least it still breaks 115-120mph. so, what u r saying is 1.6 will be pretty capable of mooooooore speed???
