so how would the B20 hold up with about 4-6 psi totally stock internally? and would the B20 out of a CRV be easy to swap into the teg?

Like i said before, it would be fine. It's just like putting an LS motor into an integra. Use the LS harness, ECU, intake manifold, clutch, flywheel, tranny, mounts. It's the same exact motor externally, except for the intake manifold.

yep.. you'd be ok... I was using OBD-0 hardware in mine...

suggestion for the b20... try to get the B20Z... and even better would be a P8R head.

I have a P8R head sitting in my garage. And yes, the B20Z is better, or the 99-00 B20Z...higher compression, more power. As for the OBD2 motor, you'd be fine putting it into your car. Just use your OBD1 distributor and ECU.

then stay away from turbo. I know its cool to have an intercooler and when you car go pshhhhh but if you want something for reliability, why not just swap in a b18c1 or c5? It'll last you another 100K+ miles with a little more hp than the b18b.

You'll run 4-6 psi for a month, then you'll want more and more and more and more..... All forged... 25 psi! 450 whp....

I am running 8 psi daily driven on my GSR motor with 138k miles with little to no downtime. I am failing to see your point.
