My STOCK 'Teg -- why's everyone trying to race me (rant)?

by the way, Dave, that avatar IS Hunter S. Thompson, right?
Kinda comical that you're very into not breaking the law with a pic with someone like him, hahaha. Just an observation. :P

Hunter was a renegade, that's for sure... but he had just cause.
At the time of Fear & Loathing, he was a voice for the people who no longer trusted the government. That sentiment was rooted in the fact that the government no longer trusted the people. It was a mutual disdain that we're almost re-living today.
Before we wander even farther off-topic, I'll make my point.
Thompson is seen by many as a scofflaw...but he was not a reckless thug. He did what he did in a very specific context with a definite purpose. By comparison, street racing is a selfish and incredibly dangerous way of feeding an adrenaline addiction.
So with that in mind, I wholeheartedly support any effort to curb street racing... and to make 1/4mi track racing venues acsessable and affordable.

By the way the 240 is the only car that I've seen that looks nice with the canister exhaust thats turned sideways.
Which means this thread is running out of gas. :a:
