Shaking issues

Check the tires/rims for being out of round as well.

2. I have never removed a motor mount from this car.
3. It definitely isn't. It has to be a wheel/axle/motor mount problem.
I would assume he checked them for tears.

You want to try to get a socket on to them and then flex the mount itself. You shouldn't really get a whole lot of movement from the mount itself. I'v had some that were busted before, and you could see the whole inside move. Also, ending on how long you've been running the car with that engine it may be a good idea to change them anyway. A turbocharged engine can put a lot of stress on motor mounts, and if by any chance you've ever had some kind of fender bender, that could stress them out a lot as well.

I inspected the mounts tonight and I found that every one of them was fine except for the left front mount next to the timing belt. The bushing was totally ripped up and it had a bunch of play in it. I don't know if that is the problem but I will replace it and keep you guys updated.
Definitely replace that mount and it'll help.

So, I replaced the motor mounts that were bad: right and left front and it still has the problem. It just moved the shaking from 40-70mph to 50-70mph. I am really out of ideas as to what it could be. So can anyone think of a logical expanation as to why the car shakes only while accelerating and going 50-70mph?
