You want to try to get a socket on to them and then flex the mount itself. You shouldn't really get a whole lot of movement from the mount itself. I'v had some that were busted before, and you could see the whole inside move. Also, ending on how long you've been running the car with that engine it may be a good idea to change them anyway. A turbocharged engine can put a lot of stress on motor mounts, and if by any chance you've ever had some kind of fender bender, that could stress them out a lot as well.
