Unquestionably, the easiest way to gain torque on a 96 GSR is.......



.......start removing weight. A/C. Soundproofing. Go to wind up windows. Back seat. Strip as much weight out of the thing as you can.


It doesn't actually get you more engine torque, but it lets what you have do more for you. Not meant to be a smart ass answer, just pure common sense, and dollars and sense.

he is right. the easiest way to gain power is to free it up. the weight of your car uses power to overcome its inertia. less weight, less power that is transferred to excess momentum.
