Unquestionably, the easiest way to gain torque on a 96 GSR is.......



.......start removing weight. A/C. Soundproofing. Go to wind up windows. Back seat. Strip as much weight out of the thing as you can.


It doesn't actually get you more engine torque, but it lets what you have do more for you. Not meant to be a smart ass answer, just pure common sense, and dollars and sense.
