swap ???????????
dont do a full engine swap, change your head you can get the same hp... why are you changing a 98 teg engine??? just cause the new one will say b18c5?? on it just do a head swap and you will get pretty good hp gain... put a v-tec head and do this... then you might have more hp than you thought
ARP Head Studs
B&M Fuel Pressure Gauge
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Regulator
Edelbrock Throttle Body
Mugen Head Gasket
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold
Skunk 2 Stage 2 Camshafts
Skunk 2 Valve Springs and Retainers
STR Cam Gears (Black)
and you will get a nice hp gain... spend the rest of your money on brakes, clutch, body, interior.....
good luck...

I agree, why the huge push to swap out the motor? You could make some great hp with the one you have and some mods.
In addition, VTEC isn't all that man. You could spend the money on FI and make MUCH more power than VTEC.

You don't need vtec. In fact, some major builders say that nonVTEC is better for FI because there are less moving parts.

As said above, I have a friend with a stock B18B and a T3/T04E turbo with home made piping and Hondata running 13.2 in the quarter on about 11 psi. That's about 250 whp on a stock block, stock internals B18B.
Read man.. read.
