Default maintenence required light

My brother has a 96 integra ls, and it is just over 76,000 mileage, and he noticed that his "maintenence required" light stays on (blinks) for about 10 seconds after he starts the car. Is this light tied into the mileage? What maintenence is required at this mileage of an integra? cost?

Check the manual. It suppose to come on every certain amount of miles for oil changes, tune up, and full maintenence. You can reset it yourself, there is a button.

You have to push the button in and hold it then turn the key to the on position. Wait a few seconds and it will clear. The button is under the dash on the drivers side to the right of the steering wheel. It's small, black and square.
