will the koni yellows go with the GC? if so what do you guys think about that setup? as you guys can tell ( also by my name) i am still learning about this kind of stuff so thanks for helping me out. my favorite set up that i have been in is the eibach pro with koni yellows so maybe thats why i am leaning towards koni more. i will look into the recommandations like TEIN RE, Zeal B6, JIC FLTA2 etc... and see if i can learn more about those parts.

well just for a lil more input...I have the pro-kit on my EG civic coupe, and when I had 17's on there the rear just about tucked, and I had issues with rubbing....the front gap was about half an inch between the fender and the tire. As far as struts, I would go with kyb agx if you are gettin reasonable drop springs.

That'd be a really sweet setup, and yes GC does make kits that fit on koni struts. If you've got the funds for the yellows go with that for sure, if you don't the KYB AGX with GC will also be a very good setup. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

Let me add in something else, look into getting a set of Tokico 5 way adjustable Iluma Shocks and struts to go with the Eibach springs. Tokico also makes a complete kit if your interested. The Struts are adjustable with a screwdriver and you can set the whole car up very quickly like with Coilovers. Koni offers a similiar adjustable strut I believe but Tokico's are more durable. There are pro race teams that race Mustangs on the same streetable Tokico's you can buy so if your wondering about performance, it is definitly there.

Just some things to consider when lowering: cars should not be lowered more than 2 inches max because it effects handling in other areas such as pivot points. Allignment is also made difficult and requires adjustable caster/camber plates to correct the camber you add by lowering too far (camber greater or less than exactly 0 will wear out your tires.) Also lowering too far will cause bumpsteer and requires adjustable tie rod ends to correct lateral wheel motion. Keep in mind that professionaly raced cars are not lowered more than 1.5 inches because of wheel clearance and travel. The lowered and tucked cars you see in magazines would never survive on a road racing circuit so you need to access what your goal is before you lower.

thanks for you input, i would only like to lower it about 1.5 but i like the fact that i can change it if need it. i wouldnt mind some wheel gap, just nothing that makes me car look really stupid. hopefully i dont have to get a camber kit with my drop, but it would be adjust if its too bad, hopefully not lol. as for the Tokico, i have never been in a car with them on but i would check them out when the spring integra meets are here. so far i got my heart set on koni, but before i make a purchase i would look more into the Tokico. plus they are cheaper then koni ( i think), lol.

I wouldn't count on Tokico struts being more durable than Koni's. First I've heard of that.
