Default which Suspension should i go with?

Hello all, its almost spring time and i got my 17 wheels coming in from ups right now. However i am really worry about the wheel gap i am about to have so i am going to lower my car. my two choices are eibach pro with koni yellows or tein s/s coilovers. i did a search on those topic already and i heard nothing but good things about both setup. but i am just wondering besides for the adjustable ride height is there any differences from getting shock/springs to getting coilovers? if you guys have a choice whichone would you get? if so is there a special reason why you would chose one over another? thanks for you guys help!

i don't think the eibach pro-kits will take care of your wheel-gap problem. With 17's you might be looking at a 2 inch gap and the pro-kits won't lower you anywhere near that. I have the sportlines that lower approx. 1.75 and i still have a slight gap up front. So you might want to think twice about your spring selection. I would go with the s/s coilovers just cuz they're teins, but also because it is a true coil-over system that peforms pretty well. Hope this can help you a bit.

thanks for you input, it did help me. that was my biggest concern was that eibach is still going to be too high. i just didnt want to go too low becuase i didnt want my ride to be harsh. my friend have the eibach/koni and i like that way it rides. just wondering if the teins can be just as good with a lower drop..

I'd have to go with your 3rd option, go with the teins. But If you're rolling on 17s the ride'll be pretty rough. I'd suggest GC coilovers with koni struts. If you're on 17s, you're prolly not autoxing or circuit racing so I don't really the high performance tein system. I was on 17s for a while, with GCs, the ride was already pretty rough from the 40 series tires, with the tein ss, that ride would be unbearable IMO.

I would suggest Koni's (or Bilsteins) with GC's and get whatever rates you want.

I'm not a big fan of Teins, but I'd get Zeal's, BC, etc before them..

GC's work perfectly fine though and will give you everything you want. Just think about what spring rates you want or talk to the people at Ground Control and see what they suggest for you.

yea with 17's wrap in 40 tires, i know my ride is goes harsh. i am just looking for a lower ride look with the best riding condition. i am probably going to change the tires to 50, but still wanna to lower it. i guess the best choice for me is going with gc with koni?

Tein SS get's my vote. The pro-kit will not take care of your wheel gap.

The GC sleeve/spring combo designed to fit on koni struts. If you're not looking for crazy road hugging autox performance, go with the reds, they'll be more than enough for what you're looking for. The GC/Koni red combo is an excellent value.

50 series tires won't fit on your integra, you're stuck with 40s dude. If you've still got options, I'd recommend 16" rims.

I have to agree with Dave ROR. Bilsteins and a Standard Ground Control kit will suit your needs. They rid fairly well and handle well for the money spent. If handling is your primary concern, look into the TEIN RE, Zeal B6, JIC FLTA2 and the like. Independent stoke to height is key.
