I still say go with the Hawks...they dont dust that much and offer much better braking than stock. I was never too impressed with the Axxis pads.
The Porterfields are nice pads as well.

EBC GreenStuff gets my vote all the way!!! They stop sooo much better then the stock pads and it is almost impossable to heat them up too much. they cost me $65 F and $55 Rear from tire rack... they also do have that little metal piece so it removes the guess work out of replacing them.

I just upgraded to axxis pads and they perform decently well. I went to a track day @ Thunderhill last Friday, and my stopping power was more than adequate. I would recommend Axxis pads as an OEM replacement/upgrade.
I have also heard Hawks are a great autox/track pad but for daily driving/commuting I think Axxis will suit you fine. They're a step above AEM (but a little more expensive)
