To fake, or not to fake? That is the ?
I wasnt really planning on spending much... I got Free ITR parts my friend gave me, and free rims.So i really wouldnt be spending much... he upgraded his whole car, i got itr cams , intake manifold, throttle body, valve cover, header, full exhaust, oem type r decals ,oem H emblems,
I guess i would prolly buy the itr lip and spoiler, a whopping total off 200 dollars for me....From my friends car

Putting a type r sticker on something that isnt a type r is rice, plain and simple. You can make it look like an itr all you want but it still wont be an itr.
Also an itr intake manifold wont bolt up to p72 head. You would have to redrill it to work.

I really like the JDM Type R front ends (I know that's not what you are talking about), and if you wanted to make your car look Type R (USDM or JDM) it wouldn't be bad unless you start putting red badges all over your car...
Unless you build the motor like a Type R. Then you are allowed.

I was just wondering if i would be considered rice then if everything was done right?Oh and H emblems on a acura seem more rice too me then the stickers,However if the Integra had a Honda Integra front end that would be another story...

No matter what you do to your car, I doubt the people looking at a home will really care.
They'll care about having to push the seat forward to get into the backseat. A Nissan Maxima or Acura TL makes a better (mature, responsible) statement than a hooked up Integra!
And do NOT put Type R stickers on something that ain't an R. (period)

And stickers do not make a car look fast, but i wanted it for style...how come people place m3 badges on there 325i's but itr sticker on a car that has similar exteriors and same engine both b18c with exception of some mods... they get smacked for when the 325 gets away with respect?I dont think the car would be considered rice if high quality parts are used.Do you guys consider US integra's with jdm parts rice as well. It's the same concept ... they are both being represented as something there not.

I recommend not talking anymore.
Everyone take it easy with the statements of opinion. I have a low tolerance threshold for flaming. :squint:

That said....if you are going to take clients in your car, I agree with the recommendation of a larger 4 door car. Acura TL would be a great pick, for example.
And I also agree that while the USDM OEM lips and wings are better looking than nearly all other options, the emulation of an ITR, in my opinion, seems a little farfetched when you plan on keeping your sunroof. I'd let the OEM design speak for itself IMO.
All in all, a four door car will be more appropriate for shuttling clients around.. Why not then take a four-door third-gen Integra and swap in a built B18c5or H22? In combination with a JDM front end conversion, the result would be unique and darned quick.
My 2.8¢
