Default To fake, or not to fake? That is the ?

lol gay i know....anyways

Im currently wondering what your guys input is on a GSR(2000) converted over too a type R look a like?I do not have enough cash for a real type R , they are still like 20k here. But i found a beautifull 2000 Gsr Black for 9k only 40k miles.Im not going to mod it that much because i need to keep a nice respectable car for my business.I was going too do 5 lug conversion, type r lip/spoiler.Type R engine parts.Im not really a big fan of making the car look like a Type R,because i hate rice. But It will be just like it only with leather seats and a sunroof.Once again im not going to mod it,but i want it too look like a type R.And the flamenco black color looks closest too nighthawk black.Instead of tafetta for championship and so on.So what do you guys think? Is that just horrible or is it respected if i do it right?

You said you dont want to make it look like a R but you want it to as well? Make up your mind... regardless, R's have nice lips and spoiler so if thats what you want, cant go wrong.

yes what i was gonna do was buy the spoiler/lip oem type r Red "A's" and some 15" circuit 8 wheels and then convert my engine over too type R including valve cover. If i bought oem type R stickers and placed them in the appropriate place would my car be the laughing stock of han or would it be respected.Thats what i meant...Im not however going too be adding intake or some huge exhaust because of my job.

red CALIPERS and fake Type R stickers will make you rice by HAN standards. What about your job that you cant put a H/I/E setup on your car?

I suggest doing a Honda rebadging, which's clean and cool.

So you want your car to LOOK fast that = rice.

All the money you spend making it into an itr you could make your car faster than an itr.

hehe im in real estate and im relatively young for it(18), i need to present my self to my clients that i am well respected and having a nice car is a big part of that,as i have to use it with my clients to show houses. The average buyer is going to be more optfull to go with a older agent, one that doesent have a loud exhaust and is lowered with 68" rims on it( hehe jk).But however i am into modding my car, and i have loved ITR's since ive been in one.I just wanted to know if i used oem parts from a itr and installed them on my gsr would it make me a ricer. And i didnt say anything about fake type R stickers or red calipers. The decals came off a Real 98 Itr ( my friends who removed for a sleeper look). I was just wondering if i would be considered rice then if everything was done right?Oh and H emblems on a acura seem more rice too me then the stickers,However if the Integra had a Honda Integra front end that would be another story...

yes and through the process of learning a new car im sure i would install better parts, but i want to keep it NA.

And stickers do not make a car look fast, but i wanted it for style...how come people place m3 badges on there 325i's but itr sticker on a car that has similar exteriors and same engine both b18c with exception of some mods... they get smacked for when the 325 gets away with respect?I dont think the car would be considered rice if high quality parts are used.Do you guys consider US integra's with jdm parts rice as well. It's the same concept ... they are both being represented as something there not.
