Default Newbie with some Questions PLZ!!!

Alright, i'm not an import guy but i'm looking at a daily driver car. I wanted to know some info about the Stock RSX.

1. How much does the RSX manual and automatic weigh.. i was thinking around 2700?

2. what are some "go fast" mods and how much hp for each mod

I.E. intake, exhaust, downpipe, engine pullies etc..

thanks in advance

check out ebay...they got alot of cheap stuffs...and just cause they're cheap doesnt mean its crap...well not all of it...i bought an intake from ebay for $30 and gain a little power...then i order one for $220 "injen short ram" and the difference...NONE...just that the injen short ram looks better and got a name on it...so pretty much youre paying +$100 just for name brand...and then my buddy got a cat back from this site for $450 and this other buddy got one for $150 off of ebay for their integra...the difference is none...but if you are wellin the spend that much money for the name then go ahead but if youre short on cash or want to save a little then go to EBAY....

Default So far i got

A Rsx is deffantly a good daily driver, the base model isn't the fastest car in the world it weights around 3,200 pounds and for mods get a 2004 and lower because they don't make as much stuff for a 05 and up RSX but the RSX is still a pretty sick car

RSX weighs in at 2767#. I'm on my second one. Both typeS's. Wouldn't have a base model, no way to make up the 40+ hp difference between the two without great expense. (turbo)

This statement is not really true. Parts might look the same but give them a few months and you'll see a difference. Rubber cracking, non-stainless steel parts rusting, etc. Quality and fitment is the main issue. Technology behind a part is also important. Just because it looks good, doesn't mean you will get the same performance out it. Last but not least, branded parts have warranty, some lifetime. Anyway, ebay or not, stay with branded stuff.
