This statement is not really true. Parts might look the same but give them a few months and you'll see a difference. Rubber cracking, non-stainless steel parts rusting, etc. Quality and fitment is the main issue. Technology behind a part is also important. Just because it looks good, doesn't mean you will get the same performance out it. Last but not least, branded parts have warranty, some lifetime. Anyway, ebay or not, stay with branded stuff.
