"I would be able to see oil in the coolant; coolant on the dipstick; etc. Which I am not seeing."

Not necessarily, it depends on where the leak is in the gasket.

I had a head gasket go out on a 95 Neon, it would boil the water out of the overflow tank, intermittently. I had no oil in the water or water in the oil but it did put compressed air into the coolant.

It seemed to do OK around town but on long high speed trips it would overheat.

Im going to take off the cover for the cam today and hope to see a leak from the water pump. If so; I guess I'll be venturing into foreign land, as I have never replaced one before. Besides the timing belt change, anything else anyone suggest replacing?

sounds like your waterpump. my friend had the same prob.
if it is your waterpump then your timing belt is probably soaked in coolant, your gonna wanna replace that too.
and if you've replaced ur timing belt b4 the waterpump should be easy, just a couple extra steps.

Radiator sealer stuff is junk. It just clogs up your system, leading to pressure increases in weird places and sometimes it will cause hose tears and whatnot that wouldn't happen otherwise. All that Bar's Stopleak stuff is rubbish, seriously. I tried it on a radiator with a pinhole leak, and it did 0% good - and I tried 5 different brands. Same thing with my friends and their cars. And the radiator shop I called just laughed at me when I told them about this, and said "Another $5 profit for the Bar's company... that stuff is useless."

I had same problem, radiator needed to be replaced. It was all calcified on the inside and I had a front end collision a few years back which prolly clogged some of the water paths in it anyways.
