It will take a lot more than 225HP to the wheels to run 12 flat. My S2000 has 210 to the wheels and weighs less; best I could hope for is a 13.3 q/m.

Your S2000 weighs 2800lbs., a stripped B18 hatch is maybe 2200-2300lbs. With that power-to-weight ratio and traction (ie., drag radials) I'd say 12's is inevitable. Then again, driving around in a stripped car is not my idea of fun. The other option is JRSC@8psi with good engine management. That would be one hell of a car to drive.

I just got back from my trip to detroit to see family and I got to drive a few turboed vehicles. I must say that I like the turbo and am considering putting one on my b18c now, but I really don't care for all the maintenance and fine tuning. Although, it would probably be a whole lot cheaper than trying to build an N/A motor. But then again, if you want any real power from the turbo, you will have to build your motor anyways. Anyways, just to let you all know, I do drive a stripped hatch. Everything is out except the dash. I havent taken it to the track yet, but the only thing we have here is an 1/8 mile. I think I'll be running low 9's. If you translate that to a 1/4 mile, I don't know what that is but thats what I would be running. Sooo, now that I am considering turbo, what setup would you guys recommend. I am not talking about "Get the drage gen III kit". I mean, specifically, what turbo would you recommend for my motor, along with tubing size and so forth. Thanks again for all the suggestions

if your going turbo then your going to have to build it up with je pistons and eagle rods so that you got a compression ration around 8:1. get a t3/t4 turbo or something around there, get a phat intercooler, vortech fmu, bigger fuel pump, fuel rail, dsm 450 cc injectors, 3" exhaust, skunk2 turbo cams, skunk2 intake manifold....oh ya and hondata 2b. then tune that baby up and youll be in the 12 easy as long as you got some nice rubber on there. did i forget anything?

external wastegate, blow off valve,n brand turbo as in model # and so forth. That sounds lke a nice setup, but how did you figure you would get 8:1 compression off pistons and rods.
