What is a JDM B18C-R top speed?
JDM B16 cuts out at 115? Must be in the ECU.. we've had my friends CRX with a JDM B16A up to 140. But it was turbo'd, meaning the ECU wasn't stock.
I've had my GSR to around 130ish. I hate doing over that because I either get paranoid about being pulled over, or I don't trust the little shit road I'm doing it on.

Did your buddy change the cluster out because how can he tell what he was doing after 120-125 unlike a DC chasis cluster which shows 140? My Si ecu is chipped so I've only had it to like 125. Too bad Honda didn't make the 88-91 Civic/Crx cluster speedo to like 140. Would've been nice
I didnt think hondas have speed govenors they just hit a brick wall, meaning most run out of power in 4th and 5th gear at about 125mph, if your b18c isnt pulling past 120 there is something wrong, tune your motor other then that i think a stock gsr goes about 130 -135 and a swaped crx or civic b18c it should do a little more maybe 140 to 150, ive had my first gen crx with my stock ls swap going well over 140 mph and a gsr would not keep up. and b16a's are weak they run just as fast as a stock d16z6 maybe 125mph with a couple bolt ons, why would anybody buy a weak ass b16a they are only like 5 or 10 ft lbs more torque then a single cam, and a b18 swap is about the same price if not a little cheaper and there is at least 120 ft lbs of torque, i smoke b16's like nothing and they waste my gas and my tires

Above is what you need, wire it in before the ecu (on the gearbox speed sender is the best place)
