The pistons dont have the same CR as CTR and the rods arent as strong. other than that with some minor exterior features its a CTR. It wont make the HP that a CTR does nor will it be as reliable at high revs. A great combo like that would be a b18c block with b16 rods and pistons and a B16b/b18c6 head. With the taller deck of the b18 you can get a longer stroke with the same revs.
So refresh my mamory but the longer the stroke is, the more low end torque you have.... The shorter the stroke the more high end HP you have right?

So give me a LONG stroke vs a SHORT stroke for a B16A3... What is the normal stroke? What rod lengths= what stroke? I probably want to go a little less the normal more HP less torque... Well its a B16 in a 90 DX hatch... Im not feelin it on the torque that bad.

Also, anyone have anything to say about this TODA stroker kit? Its the 12 6:1 pistons crank and rods.... Not sure what the rod length is but I can find out! Is the STROKER KIT for a bored out B16A? The whole thing comes prebalanced to 10K sounds pretty sick!

Actually...the b16b does share the same block height with the b18c5/1 motors. It is essentially a destroked jdm b18c R motor. The only thing it has in common with the b16a is the displacement and the higher revving capabilities. It also comes with a block girdle like the b18c motor, where the b16a does not.

Having said this, I would rather get a 1.8

Also, most b-series blocks have 81mm sleeves. The b20b has 84mm bore though.

Why? A USDM B16A will go for around $2500 for a whole swap! This includes axles shift linkage any trany I want any ecu and motor mounts off a JDM 88-91 SiR! This is the deal presented to me after many many hours of online reserch and then I finaly went to an import dismantlers and they quoted me this! The best I could do as far as a B18C1 was $3700... Lets recap here... $2500 vs $3700... thats a $1200 diference, for $1200 there is a lot of stuff you can do to a B16A that will give you the 20 WHP that the B18C1 has.... Pluss I can get the motor installed for $800 about half a block from there at MODACAR........ Im goin with the B16A. I will soon have enough money! I saved as much as posable during the holidays...

Know your **** before you come and call me out. Everytime i post on here one of you bastards seem to call me on something. I wouldnt post it if i was wrong. so stop ****ing calling me out.
