Why? A USDM B16A will go for around $2500 for a whole swap! This includes axles shift linkage any trany I want any ecu and motor mounts off a JDM 88-91 SiR! This is the deal presented to me after many many hours of online reserch and then I finaly went to an import dismantlers and they quoted me this! The best I could do as far as a B18C1 was $3700... Lets recap here... $2500 vs $3700... thats a $1200 diference, for $1200 there is a lot of stuff you can do to a B16A that will give you the 20 WHP that the B18C1 has.... Pluss I can get the motor installed for $800 about half a block from there at MODACAR........ Im goin with the B16A. I will soon have enough money! I saved as much as posable during the holidays...
