Come on... Tranny suggestions? ;-)
Okay... LS/VTEC... 12:1 compression, forged internals, and a 150 shot on the way... What kind of tranny would be best? My old LS tranny that is in good shape, but has long gears... or a short-gear Cable tranny that's like finding a needle in a haystack? lol

Do you want lightning quick accelleration or good gas mileage and top speed?
Running N/A you'd probably want the gears out of a Type-R. Throwing nitrous into the mix though with short gears like that, you're liable to run out of gear very early (think pedaling a bicycle downhill with the uphill gears selected. You spin fast but don't really go anywhere.)

Try and find the tranny off a B17, I can't remember what it is called... but its got like twin cone synchros or something. Its a little better than the regular B16 tranny. I'd also try looking for a LSD tranny.
search for cable tranny on partstrader (http://www.thepartstrader.com/CarPag...D=130&PCID=130) there are tons of them, for as little as 2 bills.
PS I think you guys forgot you gots a G2 teg

Anyhoo, Turbo guys go with the long-geared trannies because they stay in boost longer right? Well I'll want to stay in the Nitrous longer, so maybe I should go stick to longer gears??? I dunno, right now it accelerates like a dog, but that's w/o the bottle.
I mean... son't get me wrong, with my compression in the LS/VTEC it's not slow... but I'd just like to get her movin quicker ;-)

Short geared YS1...I don't think you'll run out of gear in the 1/4 even on a 150 shot. Just don't hit it til 2nd at least

Switch for the Type R/GSR tranny, granted the gears are a little shorter and your gas mileage will drop some, you'll probably get better acceleration.

Try and find a JDM YS1 or a GSR YS1, which are essentially the same. Otherwise a JDM Y1, S1 or J1 will provide alright gears although you'll have to run a '90-'91 Integra clutch rather than a '92-'93 clutch.
