Try and find the tranny off a B17, I can't remember what it is called... but its got like twin cone synchros or something. Its a little better than the regular B16 tranny. I'd also try looking for a LSD tranny.
search for cable tranny on partstrader (http://www.thepartstrader.com/CarPag...D=130&PCID=130) there are tons of them, for as little as 2 bills.
