Default 1996 Honda Civic DX dieing

I've got a 1996 Civic and when I come to a stop sign/street light, I sometimes feel like my car is about to die. The battery light will sometimes flicker while I'm slowing down. I had by battery and alternator cheacked and they both are working great. I did have a 600 watt amp in my car, but I took it out, because I thought that it was what was causing the problem, buit it was not. My SRS light has been on for a while, but I never though to take it into a dealer to get it checked. WHen I took my car into the dealer to find out what was wrong when I had my amp in the car, they told me that I should probably find a way to connect my amp differently. I tried to do that a few different ways, but it didn't help the problem. WHen I had my battery and alternator checked, the person said that it could be a problem with a sensor, but I have no experience with any sensors, so I really don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?

How did you have you amp hooked up that they would have told you to not do it that way?
Also, u got Manual or Auto?

I've got a manual. I don't know how the dealership came to the decision that the amp was the problem. They really couldn't come to another conclusion for the problem, so they probably just assumed it was the amp causing the problem.

Are you throwing a Check Engine Light (CEL)?
I really doubt it's the amp...
It could be something in your ignition, have you ever changed plugs/wires/rotor/cap before?
If the battery and alternator are ok, I would suspect something ignition related. Although if it wasn't getting fuel, it could cause that also...
Why is your SRS light on? Electrical problem?

You might check your throttle position sensor. It should be about .5 volts closed and 4.5 volts open. It's not unheard of for these things to go out.
