Default 1996 Honda Civic DX dieing

I've got a 1996 Civic and when I come to a stop sign/street light, I sometimes feel like my car is about to die. The battery light will sometimes flicker while I'm slowing down. I had by battery and alternator cheacked and they both are working great. I did have a 600 watt amp in my car, but I took it out, because I thought that it was what was causing the problem, buit it was not. My SRS light has been on for a while, but I never though to take it into a dealer to get it checked. WHen I took my car into the dealer to find out what was wrong when I had my amp in the car, they told me that I should probably find a way to connect my amp differently. I tried to do that a few different ways, but it didn't help the problem. WHen I had my battery and alternator checked, the person said that it could be a problem with a sensor, but I have no experience with any sensors, so I really don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?
