Are you throwing a Check Engine Light (CEL)?
I really doubt it's the amp...
It could be something in your ignition, have you ever changed plugs/wires/rotor/cap before?
If the battery and alternator are ok, I would suspect something ignition related. Although if it wasn't getting fuel, it could cause that also...
Why is your SRS light on? Electrical problem?
