It is a hex editor just like Hondata or Uberdata. It uses a chip just like Hondata and Uberdata. The software is just different in many ways than Hondata or Uberdata.

There are different rom editors on PGMFI for crome/uberdata, try opening it in each and see if they start to make sense. You're still going to need to change the fuel and ignition tables when you raise vtec xover, otherwise you're going to be rich from 4100-vtec xover. You'd probably be able to feel the difference once you hit 4100.

Yeah I know about the different OBD-1 ROM editors, been a member of pgmfi.org for like a year now.
I tried basic troubleshooting by opening it with other editors and I cannot even open it using crome... BTW I am 99.9% positive it was created in Uberdata, as this is what he was using for his, mine and others' cars...
I just don't see how the bin operates my car perfectly, but when I read it into Uberdata the values are all screwed up (fuel tables all say -127.xx and the ignition tables all read like 40 degrees or something). really weird...
Thanks for the info, but I know that I need to adjust the fuel and ignition tables when I change the VTEC x-over, this is a no-brainer and why I didn't post it above
