you need pistons for a 16 valve head. I think some d15b8 engines came with pistons compatible with a 16 valve head, but I don't know which.

found it out..... the VX has the 2 reliefs per piston... the cx has 4, even though it only has the 8 cylinders.

Can anione help me on making the vtec work on my mini-me swap do you have to drill oil line or do you just have to wire vtec from the solenoid to the ECU? please give me some handy work here if ani of can thankz alot.......

Just wire it from the solenoid to the ECU. You do NOT need to drill into the block. All you have to do is remove the oil jet thing in the top center of it:



Just search, and you'll get a ton of detailed instruction sets for getting VTEC to engage.
