Yeah 310's would work with the stock ecu, not a bad idea. You would need something to control the 440's such as uberdata or hondata...<-----great idea, cant go wrong there.....
Plan for the future to save money.
So any ideas on what power/torque u'll get on a stock CRVTEC conversion, with I/H/E?
I heard the two bolting together alone make like 250bhp at crank, 212whp, and like 180ftlb torque? These numbers seem well to good to be true to me?
I'm tryin to decide on whether this is a worthwhile swap!!! Coz the other way i want to do it is stage 3 cams (jun) cam gears, valve springs etc Skunk 2 I/M and some type r pistons (EK9) for high comp?
What do you guys reckon is better?

BTW this is where i saw the power statements for the CRVTEC. http://www.g-motorsports.com/b16tob20.htm
That motor has more done to it then just slapping the block and head together. I'm sure they are using JUN cams to make power up to 9k rpm.
The amount of power you'll make depends greatly on your tuning and selected parts used.

With everything stock,I don't recommend rev the engine over 7K rpms. Once in a while is all right, but all the time, then your engine will go Kaboom!!! Anyway,I have B20Vtec my self cause I don't want to rev the engine to 8K rpms all the time. With bigger displacement you get more low end power and more practical for driving in around city.Just get B20Z if you could cause B20Z have higher compression.I think is coming from 1998-2000 CR-V (146HP) and B20B 1997-1998 CR-V (126HP).But if you have spare money get it done together with high compression pistons if you want to stay N/A in the future.Go with 11.5:1 or 12:1 but make sure you fill the gas with at least 95 octane.
