i thought this:it's not entirely dependednt on it, actually it has little to do with it, i am asking if the cylinder walls will be able to hold the pressure, thats all
like has anyone tried to put high comp ratio pistons in b20's before and then just cracked the cylinder walls?

I would probably go the bored out b18c route myself.
As for the B20 block, and pretty much any honda sleeves, tuning makes a HUGE difference. Tuned correctly, you'll break a piston's ring lands running boost long before you hurt the cylinders. Tuned incorrectly, you'll swell the cylinder, break a piston, snap a rod and any other catastrophic failure that would make your wallet quiver.
With high HP hondas, the sum of it's parts do not necessarily indicate the total strength, because bad tuning can cause a world of hurt.

A bored B18C sounds good. Anything worth doing is worth doing right.

CRX are a dime a dozen dude.....you will hate it. you have to hack up the core support to fit a turbo on a B series motor in that car. get a 5th get hatch and be done with it

i dont want a turbo, i'm going overbored b18c (2 liters) with high comp pistons i want the power to be there all the time, hondas arent turbo cars, i've run into that a few times, tho it is tempting to think about it sometimes. i still want a rex
