Amazingly enough, google is perfectly able to find information about this subject.

Next time at least give it a shot.

whats the point. honda balances its motors to a very high standard at the factory.
my h22a1 is pretty much solid to 9k on stock crank, and its a 2.2 liter
the head is a different story.

but then again how many focus's/neons/cavaliers can rev that high without problems

GM/FORD/DODGE have a habit of welding journals on faulty cranks and things of that nature...this is where magnafluxing and blueprinting becomes necessary, if u want to rev past 5500.

blueprint of your engine is what the mechanics use to put your motor toghether. It shows you what bearings to use piston ring gaps and soforth.Once you get that you basically have the blueprint to put the motor together. To get a blueprint gots to tear down the motor and assemble it and get the specs for the bearings ,gaps, and clearances.

RiGgEdB18B1, if you read the link I posted you would know that your post has absolutely nothing to do with what an actual blueprinted engine is. Please, if you're not sure of something don't go posting it like it's a fact. All that does is create confusion, and one of us mods has to come and correct it. Thanks.
