Default RPM Issue

Just dropped in a JDM B18CR into my teg and the ECU is spittin out some codes. Strange thing is tho, when we hooked up the ECU to the Snap On code reader thing(cant remeber what this is called), it shows the rpm's going down when throttle is given. At idle, it shows at 700-750 RPM, but when the gas is pressed, it goes down...100-200 RPM. Anyone seen this before???

Mine did that when the timing was screwed up...one tooth off on one of the cam gears, so we pulld it and tried again, got it...how long does the lag last? where did the ECU come from...Damn computerized stuff anyhow, you may have a glitch somewhere that is telling the injectors to fire just a little too far behind the opening of the throttle... That's just off the top of my head...I can look in my books a little.

Thanks for the help. Heres a little more detail. The car is a 95 Integra S.E, and is OBD1. The JDM ITR ecu is obd2. So, I had to purchase an adapter from jdmhondaparts to fit the ecu on the car. When my freind ran the code check, it was showing codes for the TPS, MAP and CKP sensors. He checked the wire schematics, and according to him, the adapter harness had the wires for those sensors goin to the wrong place. So basically, im thinking of maybe tryin to just get a OBD1 ecu, and see if that solves the problem. Hope it works.
