Default Increase the RPM while shifting for Auto.

Hi People ~! i have a friend driving a Auto EK with B16A. Vtec only engage during high RPM. But since my friendZ was a Auto . . The transmission won't drag the RPM till more den 5500. Its abit waste of 'Vtec' if it opens only at 4500 RPM. So i was wondering is there any way to made the Auto transmission to shift at higher RPM ? ? ? ?

I know that this can be done in V8 motors by adjusting a spring.

two options go to www.levelten.com and buy an electronic shift kit to control your shifting like a manual or floor it. I have an auto and if I have the pedal to the floor it doesn't shift till the red line.

Same here, you sorta can control the shifting that way. Hold the pedal down till you wanna shift, let up on it, let it shift, then mash down for the next gear.

automatics shift depending on how much the throttle is open or if you are on in incline right?

so if he wants vtec, press the gas a little harder? :dunno:

but the best thing to do, is to swap the tranny, IMO

they arent suppose to shift that early at WOT.

Erm . . how to manually shift it ? ? ? The Auto shift only got :
P = Parking
N = Neutral
R = Reverse
D4 = Drive 4
D3 = Drive 3
2 = i believe is gear 2
1 = i believe is gear 1

Erm . . . got to step on the brake to shift it . . . so how am i gonna do manual shifting ? ? ??
