Default 91 crx

my friend has a 91 crx that he said he wood sell me.it has 170k miles,its auto,hes lil bit of front fender damage on passgaer side,has decnt tire tread left,it has intake and exhuast on it,it sounds really nice,like a bumble bee,it runs really good,he wants 700 for it should i get it?how i tell if its a hf or a dx?its 16 valve sohc

700 Would be a good price for a 91, but it depends on how much damage is done to the front fender. Could always look on the back for the badge to see what kind of CRX it is. Even if it's pulled off you could probably still see the outline of the letters.

its slow but tis not the slowest,it beat a jeep cherokie 4.0 sport,a new focus hatch,and a 89 civic hatch,is there any good engine swaps for the auto crx?

I'm not sure if you can swap an Auto ZC into it, but it might be sometning to look into. If you've got the time and money (more time then money, I think), just convert it to a 5-spd!!
