i own a 95 teg ls.
the exhaust manifold is glowing like a real dark red at night.
i know it is runnin lean (plugs and engine is hot)
im not generating any codes and im not sure what to do??? :dunno:

never heard of a header doing that...um..i would try an intake mani gasket from hondata. And doesnt matter if you think its running lean or not...your plugs and engine is going to get extremely hot.
Headers glow, it's not a problem. I should take a pic of mine after a long high RPM run... glows cherry red and I'm running too rich.
As for running lean, an engine running hot is not even a definitive indication. What do the spark plugs look like?

Plugs looking brand new don't necessarily mean it's running lean. It could mean the heat range is too cold for those plugs, you haven't run them enough to get a good reading, or even that you just have a very clean running engine.
And again, headers glow, not a big deal, I suspect that you have no problems at all.

Lemme put it to you this way:
The Exhaust Gas Temperature of an internal combustion engine can easily reach over 1400 degree F. The melting point of cast iron is around 2700. I think any metal half way to it's boiling point is allowed a little color change.
