J30 into 5th gen accord?
I have a 95 accord lx, and it has the f22b2 and it has racked up quite a few miles.. So I was thinking of droping the j30 or one of the 4 cylinders DOHC VTEC, something of the such.... what would be the best engine to go with in my situation. and what would be the easiest??? and is this talk about the H22 a better engine then the j30a1??
H22A, man. It's a drop-in motor for your chassis. It's same or similar motor to the Accord R in Japan. How can you go wrong with that? Also.. if you get a motor of same obd, there's almost no wiring to be done. If yours is an auto, it's easy to convert to 5 speed - cable shifter. Keep in mind.. it's an expensive engine. But getting a JDM engine almost ensures under 60K on it.
Also.. I have to say it.. great del sol. Makes me want to use the engine outta my Pilot in my integra.
