Default A question....

People always tell me to get rid of my power steering belt, how much hp does this actually free up? Any one dyno it or something ever?

In all seriousness, if you're used to power steering, you should keep it, if you adapt quickly, or could use the arm exercise, you'll only see about 5 HP, which might be worth a tenth or two at a test and tune, but I would replace the belt for the drive home.

A/C I'll gladly rip out all the time, but PS... I'd think seriously about, cars feel like they turn slower than slugs on the salt flats when they're heavy enough to benefit from power steering and you don't have it.

you think no ps is fine while driving but try parking in a small parking lot then you will wish you had it back.
There are electric ps pumps out there
