Spanky, what happened to the 'Stang!?

I've got a:

'98 Mustang GT (Chrome Yellow, of course)

Which used to have the mods listed in the link in my sig, and ran an 8.29 @ 83.50 (1.8x) N/A, or 7.82 @ 91 (1.77) with a 125 shot, through the 1/8 of course.

The #4 piston, flywheel, and clutch didn't like that combo as much as I did, so soon my car will have some new additions:

--Novi 2000
--Forged shortblock
--ARP fasteners
--Lightning MAF
--42lb injectors
--blower cams (maybe???)
--aluminum flywheel
--Spec Stage III clutch
--well over 400rwhp

Transmission broke twice and I didn't have the money to fix it so I sold it to a friend adn bought the hatch for a measley 200 dollars.

Hopefully I'll have another again when my business gets rolling

Looks like your stang is coming along nicely

That sucks. If I had known about that I could probably have found you a used T-5 for $200 or $300 bucks. I would have been glad to install it for you. Or I probably could have found a rebuild kit and hooked you up with someone who knew how to rebuild the T-5. Too bad I wasn't in the area at the time; I'd been in the "sandbox" for a while and just got home about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

I guess you could say that my car is coming along. It's still a pile of parts, but it is getting closer. Luckily (or maybe unluckily if I've missed something in inspecting what I've bought) I've been finding killer deals on this stuff used. My shortblock I paid about 60% of the price new, and my Novi 2K I paid about 40% of new price although I had to drive a ways to pick it up. All in all, I've saved about $3500-3700 so far over new stuff. Gotta love the internet!
