Nothing wrong with the track equipment, as I did it several times on the stock width (225) radial tires. The do lay down vht at my track though which aids traction considerably. My 60's back then were consistant 2.0's. Seeing as I have the stock shifter still and I have such high mileage on the tranny, I cant bring myself to powershift her...which would have been good for another .1-.2 off the et.

Did I mention the weight of my car? Well she weighs in at 3018 lbs with the spair and jack removed with 1/4 tank if fuel.

Your average 89-93 lx 5.0 should have no problems running mid-low 14's stock when equipped with a 5-speed.

RedCivic, you should be able to pull better times than that with 18psi

But with a better sixty foot, you're in the twelves easy.

if he had gotten an f-body and put that much money into he would be in the low 11's or 10's just something to think about
he would also be able to feel the rush of what a wheels up take off feels like.

you dumb ass tool, here is a pick of an 11.4 car n/a. someone should ban your ass from this forum. I have plenty more people that i know or are in the same club im in that have pic and time splips to go along with it. A high 9 second car sometimes needs a wheelie bar at least for f-bodies.

i've seen some very slow cars do a wheelie just cause they have monster torque and big slicks, but no top-end to go along with it.

also, on 18lbs, you should be able to get AT LEAST into the 12's. how much did you dyno at @ the wheels?

ok. I really didn't even want to bother reading through all that shiat. The very first thing mentioned about this comparison was talking about the TRACK. Then all the little rice boys and even domestic people for some reason automatically got it in their heads that the topic here was the STRIP. do you see the difference there? The TRACK is different than the STRIP. 2 different racing conditions. so wtf are y'all wanting to talk about? strip is straight line. the track is a road course. get you shit straight before posting.......
