Thanks alot for this DIY. I did what you did just about. I placed the ballast on the driver side on a different place.

do your hids flicker when u hit bumps and stuff like that?

I don't even have them anymore but they never flickered except when I first fired them up.

Considering I am using the stock housings (which were never designed for HID lighting), the glare isn't too bad. And I am not worrying because I have tons of illegal parts under my hood, so what difference would some illegal lights make?
