Default Bang For The Buck

Ive got an 02' civic ex coupe. Im trying to get the most performance for the money (trying to spend less than 1.5 grand). The problem is that when i bought the car(two months ago)... i payed 850 for the warranty so whatever is done to the car... the dealership has to do (so it costs twice as much). What is the best that i can do for 1500? also - - I want to get new wheels for it (ive just got the hubcaps). Ive got 15" stock... would 17's make me have alot of flats? will it clear? What are the cheapest wheels (17" i can get that wont weigh more than stock hubcaps) If anyone has any good advice please write back.

what kind of warranty did u get? my friend got a new car...and anything he does with his car he has to OK with the dealership because it might void the warrnaty...he couldnt buy springs or anything to lower the car or even anything after market for the suspension because it voided the warranty...even if the dealership installed it...so yeha i just want to know

as for wheels go...it varys on what u want....cuz that 1.5K ur planning on spending might just be enough for 4 sets of wheels so yeah....personally...id probably go with a bodykit....i mean unless ur planning on making it go faster then save that 1.5K and drop a new motor

I dont wanna go new motor... the warranty is 10yr/100,000 mi bumper to bumper. I've talked to the dealership and they have to do ANYTHING that has affects performance. I definatelly dont wanna get a body kit thou... if i do anything cosmetic it'll be wheels / xenons / pedals. I dont want the whole new engine thou... i was thinking to the extent of headers/intake/exhaust/plugs/wiring/chip... etc...

wheels are expensive....if your looking at some good investments...err..well....your 1.5K is basically gone...unless you go for the cheap ones...which btw some are pretty good (OR JUST OLD AND DISCONTINUED)but for the good ones...well they rack up high...sp yeah...i dont really know...depends on how much money you really want to spend for the entire car...

You could get some Rotas and tires for about 800 bucks at most. I doubt theyll let you change the fuel map with a chip. Really, I'd probably just get an intake, really good header (not the DC sports junk), buy a muffler off of ebay or www.jeggs.com or something and have an muffler shop weld it on for you, then just not tell the dealer ;p
