how is this done, i see 2 screws in the bottom of the panel but nothing else and pulling it feels like its going to break off. any ideas

if its the same as my civic.. there were two screws at the bottom and two at the top. then its all held in by metal clips.. you just need to tug on it a bit till you pop out the clips. if you've never done it before then yah it prolly looks like its going to break. but it wont.

disclaimer: uhh if it breaks and you find out that there were more screws... not my fault
