Default kyb struts

I bought a set of h&r race springs and some kyb agx struts and im having a problem with the back riding on the bump stops. I had to buy new bump stops because my stock ones were gone when I took them apart. My new bump stops are made of like hard polyurathane and I was wondering if the stock bump stops are made of something a little softer. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Did you cut the bump stops when you installed the spring/shocks? Since you've got a decreased ride height, you need shorter bump stops so they don't make any contact during regular driving.

OEM bump stops are like a stiff rubber compound. They're not nearly as stiff as poly/hardened material.

I originally put the struts on without bump stops, and the struts bottomed out. Now with bump stops my suspension rides on top of them the whole time. I called H & R USA they said that it is a "bump stop active system," but I think my bump stops are too hard. Are they supposed to be soft? Would my struts have anything to do with it bottoming out?

I've never heard what H&R has described. Of all the cars I've lowered and the lowered cars I've ridden in, none of them have ridden on or hit the bump stops. Unless the springs you have are designed to be really, really low, your car shouldn't be riding like that. The AGX shocks do not have any lowering capability, so they really aren't part of the question. I've never worked with H&R race springs directly, so I can't give you a more definitive answer.

Is there anyone you know locally that could take a look at the car/suspension to make sure everything looks alright?? Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck.
