I've never heard what H&R has described. Of all the cars I've lowered and the lowered cars I've ridden in, none of them have ridden on or hit the bump stops. Unless the springs you have are designed to be really, really low, your car shouldn't be riding like that. The AGX shocks do not have any lowering capability, so they really aren't part of the question. I've never worked with H&R race springs directly, so I can't give you a more definitive answer.
