91 CRX HF Code 16
I swapped a b16a in about 3 months ago and ever since the first turn of the key I have had this fuel injector/system code. I've checked all the wires, the resistor box, and injectors with digi multi-meter. I've hooked the injector plugs up to a noid light(all 4 lit up) and the plugs are tight on the injectors. I can hear them click away through a screwdriver. I have replaced the main relay and plugs, cap, rotor, and wires twice for no reason other than desperation. Upgrades include i/h/e and a b&m fpr set at 39 psi. I do not get any strong odors of fuel and when I replaced the 2 month old plugs they looked fine.
The engine idles fine and runs strong but is running rich. I failed emissions test HC target 175 My car 270.
Any ideas?

hmm. now im confused. :dunno: . I guess the real question is whether your b16 came from a crx or an integra, since im now assuming they had different ecus.
EDIT: ok, i read the rest of the page and it says these codes apply to the LH an RH models. Dont know what that means. So anyways, you have the right code. i'll look into it more later tonight.

My engine and ecu (PR3) is from the teg XSi. Honda SiR is PW0 however, both are interchangable.

Turned out to be a loose connection on the tps ground wire that was giving me a code 16 & 7. Odd thing is the code 7 didnt show up until a month after I did the swap. Turned the key and let it idle for 15 minutes...no cel. Put it reverse and voila....code 6!
