head unit = jvc kd-s570 (40 watt x 4)
amp = 500 watt jensen xa2125 (2ohm stable)
subs = 2 10'' rockford fosgate punch hx2 (DVC 4 ohm x 2)

i feel like maybe i should be getting more bass out of this...my 6x9s are hitting harder than the damn subs i've checked all the wiring (tightened doo-dads and whatknot). do i just need to buy a new head unit and a better amp? all replies are welcome:thumbup:

 

also the subs RMS is 150-500watts

 

I'm assuming you have everything wired for the proper impedance...

-get a new amp if possible, jensen amps do not perform as well as other, more expensive amps.

Yea, what kind of box are they in???? But forsure get a better amp...

 

the subs are in a "HOT BOX"...pretty much bandpass style except the subs are facing towards each other and there is only one squared hole for the air to come out of...pretty nifty
