Sony HU's are great, there speakers suck ever since they went with the Xplod BS. For great peakers MB quart, who is now owned by Rockford Fosgate, Boston Acustic, Diamond technologies (think thats there name). But the MB Quart Q series speakers are amazing. And what is a line driver..??

 

for some stupid reason, sony decided to design cool looking head units this year and forgot to worry about the important things such as sound quality.
most of the headunits have a signal to noise about 90-95 and 2 volt preouts...
how is anyone gonna get a clean signal from that!

lines drivers could up the voltage for you

 

Use this to find out what your pulling at max and then check your alt to find out how many amps it pushes out.

P=I(V)

P=Watts
I=Amps
V=Volts

so if you have 500 watt amp. 500/13.5=37Amps

i dislike most of the car audio crap we have there minus the monster cable, some kenwood and some pioneer stuff.. i got the pioneer 8400MP the first day we had it, before it went on employee freeze.. i heard we were gettin the accomidation from sony on the 2 lcd units.. i almost bought the 7" screen.

i bought my sister a 12" HE, 300x1 RF amp and a Q logic box for her bday...its ok. im not impressed. the RF amp always shuts off.

 

note that best buy sells special models.... not the normal stuff you find at other stores

i love my RF amp i got from there. its the 1000 watt mono amp that we carried for less than a year, they now replaced it w/ some bigger, uglier, less powerful amp. glad i got it when i did

Well I gave back my Kenwood and got the Sony for a $160 difference after taxes.

 

160??! thats insane, i want a job there now
