Default I just got this installed!

I had a chance to get the Sony for $350 through my job so I picked it up. There was no built in amp on the unit so I had to buy an amp as well. The sound is a lot better than the Kenwood, and it has a sub-out that the Kenwood didn't have.

Old Kenwood MPV-619:

New Sony MEX-5DI:

New amps:

Sub:

I didn't have the 500x 4-channel until today and it helped with the sound a lot as well. They basically had to reinstall both amps because of the way the old one was positioned. He said it should have costed $340, but I got it for around $100 (Labor). They had my car for basically the entire day.

I'll take some better pics during the daytime tomorrow.

What you guys think?

Not really a screen saver, you can choose images to be displayed there from the memory stick. I downloaded some pics from my comp and put it on there. The images scrolls left to right.

Yeah that's an HE2.

I've wanted this Sony since I saw it and the chance came along. The MEX-1HD is ugly as hell and not worth the money. The only advantage of it is that it's detachable and the 5DI isn't.
