Out of curiosity what is the sd of that sub? Is the 40mm xmax linear one way or total?

Knowing Cerwin Vega, it will most likely be linear one way. I believe xmax is defined as linear one way excursion.

Because......then that battery has to be tied into the vehicles charging system which will just add more drain to the system since the alternator now has two batteries to keep charged
