Default hooking up an extra LED

how can i do it? can i solder it to the wire of existing LED?

just make sure if you connect before the resistor, to add a resistor of proper value for the new LED.

d/c ur battery incase........ i didn't and i had to buy a new relay for my car

yeah, you shouldn't have to disconnect your battery just to wire in an LED.

if you do that 2 things will happen.
the original LED will not be as bright.
the load resistor for that led may become overloaded.
you really need to add a new load resistor for the LED your adding. also you need to make sure that the LED driver circut is capable of driving 2 LED's
